Hi, my name is Rob and I have been a driver for over 20 years. The first time I drove from coast to coast was an amazing experience, and I have decided to see as much of North America as I possibly could. Apart from doing these recreational trips, I’ve also worked as a truck driver since my early 20′s. I enjoyed the job, and love all of the places that I got to visit. When I started in this career I’d have several detailed city maps that I have had to refer to for navigation. This was quite cumbersome, so I decided to buy my first GPS system in early 2005.
The ease of using a GPS system coupled with how much information the GPS has got me hooked. I’ve gone through several models during my travels, and the this site has been created to give you an honest and upfront review of GPS systems for cars. My co-workers and I have personally reviewed each GPS system listed here, and have gone through many online stores seeking the best price and user experience.
I thank you for visiting and hope that my experience can help you choose the right GPS system for your needs.
